A bit about Mount Royal Dental

For more than 13 years, Mount Royal Dental has been serving Burlington and its surrounding areas with admiration and distinction.

In recent years, Burlington Post’s Reader’s Choice Awards recognized their dental office in the best ‘best dentist’ category in 2016 (platinum), 2017 (platinum), and 2018 (diamond, topping the category of dentists). Mount Royal also supports local charities.

Dr. Sam Gupta shared:

A complicated payroll system was giving Dr. Sam headaches

Mount Royal was using ADP as its payroll service provider but found their payroll services for dental offices a bit too tedious.

Dr. Sam had hopes of finding a payroll service provider that could both ‘make it happen’ and ‘keep it simple’.

“We were looking for something simpler, perhaps more of an email-based approach that would better suit our needs and preferences. Whenever we had issues or questions, ADP didn’t have a single point of contact that knew our account which took longer to resolve. Small businesses like ours don’t benefit from that kind of business arrangement.”

It was time for a change

In 2010, Dr. Sam decided to act on an advertisement he received from VPM and arranged to meet with the sales team to learn more. Not long after, VPM was selected to replace ADP.

VPM offered free onboarding to Mount Royal Dental, and onboarding was said to be “very easy”.

Dr. Sam and his team started using VPM in no time at all.

As he looks back, Dr. Sam is pleased with his ongoing partnership with VPM.
